March Highlights

by Michele Pesula Kuegler on March 5th, 2012

March came in like a lion at the WMG East Coast office.  After a winter with almost no snow, we were greeted by eight inches of snow on the first day of March.  Apparently, Mother Nature wanted us to have snow in different months this year, as the last time we received this much snow was last October.

With snow-covered lawns for the first time in four months, it feels more like the middle of winter than nearly the start of spring.  What better way is there to remind myself of the month it is than to highlight some of the great things to expect at WMG for the month of March?

  • Get the kids ready for St. Patrick’s Day– Our holiday publication, Holidays Helper, has great suggestions for decorations, crafts, and foods to celebrate the wearing o’ the green.
  • Get the adults ready for St. Patrick’s Day- Whether you’re looking for a good beer or wine, you’ll be able to find the perfect pairing for your Irish dinner at Parched No More.  (Be sure to return next week when our staff bartender suggests alternatives to green beer.)
  • Enjoy the madness of March- Whether you have your schedule organized so that you can watch every one of the games or are content to watch just a few, be sure to check in with Buzzer Eagle to get the highlights from NCAA men’s basketball tournament.

Maybe a snowy start to March equals a good excuse to stay home and watch a little basketball. . .
