What You Want

At Wasabi Media Group we have a unique core value; we only publish original content.  Since its inception, it has been of utmost importance to me that the content we provide for our readers be unique.  Why should we publish a copy of a press release that has been distributed to numerous media outlets or republish an article that can be found on multiple other websites?  I want to deliver content that can be found only here.

Making the decision to publish only original content was easy.  Finding the best way to provide our readers with in-depth content took a little consideration.  How does WMG deliver top quality articles that are relevant?  What we had to do was divided into two categories: that which we couldn’t do and that which we could.  First, we do not provide late-breaking news, weather, sports scores, etc.  To do this we would need to use feeds from other journalistic sources.  Second, we chose to give our readers the content that they want in nearly two dozen niches.  Whether you’re looking for a cocktail recipe, advice on getting your infant to sleep through the night, or suggestions for choosing counters, we have articles in all of those areas.

This week we are launching a new series of articles on our gadget and technology publication, Inspector Electra.  Every Monday, we will begin the week with a feature article, which gives our readers a deeper look into a subject, such as Kickstarter’s New Rules.  Additionally, we will be publishing more timely pieces Tuesday through Friday that highlight recent technology news.  While we won’t be on the forefront breaking the story, we will give you some thoughtful insight to current events and thinking.

This change in format is exciting in several ways.  First, it is invigorating to find a different way of providing content to our readers.  Second, Inspector Electra will also be receiving a new look in the next week, giving the publication a total transformation.  Finally, the idea for the article format was provided by one of columnists, Scott Lindemann.  Having a member of our team help create a bigger and better WMG always is exciting.

Take a moment, check out Inspector Electra, and let if we’re providing the content that you want.
