I’m not an outdoors fanatic; simple things like sub-freezing temperatures will encourage me to stay inside.  However, I do enjoy many outdoor activities, such as hiking and snowshoeing.  To me, getting to spend a little time in nature with a companion is a trifecta:  exercise, fresh air, and conversation.  It is the perfect way to spend a few hours.

One of our publications, Outdoors Eagle, was designed for those who enjoy partaking in nature.  Over the past year we have worked on creating a focus on certain activities.  Fishing, hiking, camping, biking, outdoor gear, and skiing were the sports of choice.  However, as we are in the process of redesigning the website, we’ve decided that perhaps we need to include other activities.  Some of the activities we’ve considered are hunting (both archery and guns), snowmobiling, and four-wheeling.

Before we begin this redesign, what I’m wondering is if we’ve covered all of the areas of interest.  If there is an outdoor activity that you think we need to consider, I would appreciate it if you left a note in the comments.  We are open to any and all ideas.

We hope that with this redesign and refocusing we will continue to inspire, inform, and engage our readers.
