PeKu News- March 2014

by Michele Pesula Kuegler on March 10th, 2014

PeKu News copyOn the content front, we have a new set of projects that we are tackling:  new marketing videos for PeKu, a realigned calendar for My Fitness Tunes, refined search functionality on all of our sites.  As these tasks are varied, it allows me to work with different team members on each: an editor, an engineer, an intern.  I love sharing ideas and receiving feedback that encourage me to consider different perspectives.

On the team front, we have several occurrences this month:

  • New writerJoe Shotkus has joined us as a writer and a specialist.  He will be filling the Ask the Bartender role and will be writing cocktail articles and spirit reviews.  Joe’s first articles were published last week on Parched No More.  Check back weekly to read (or sign up for his newsletter) and keep current.
  • 3- year anniversaries– Two of our writers have reached the three-year mark for writing at PeKu.  Tabitha Akery writes on a wide variety of topics, including game reviews and tips, movie reviews, book reviews, travel advice, and more.  Sam P. is a regular teen perspective columnist and also a teen fashion specialist.  If you haven’t read articles by either of these columnists, now would be a good time to take a peek.
  • 2-year anniversary– James Maynard is celebrating his second anniversary with PeKu.  He also covers an assortment of topics, including pets, home projects, fitness, and tv reviews, among others. To learn more about James and his recent articles, check out his corporate page.

May your March be as celebratory as our seems to be!
