May Highlights

by Michele Pesula Kuegler on May 7th, 2012

Living in New England, May is the time when my senses are reawakened.  Yards and fields are beginning to explode with colors, as our local flora starts to bloom.  The season of closed windows has drawn to an end, as the warmth of the day lasts more than a few moments.  With these windows opened, we again hear the children playing outdoors, zipping by on bikes and scooters.  Our palates are anxious for the local produce that will arrive soon:  fiddleheads, rhubarb, and strawberries.

All of these experiences make May such a wonderful month.  There’s nothing quite like the smell of fresh spring air or the taste of a delicately sautéed fiddlehead.  Yes, to my mind, May is a month of newness and delights.  To keep in line with that theme, WMG has some newness and delights of it own to share:

  • Our wedding publication, Here Comes a Bride, has increased its publication frequency.  With this increase, we also have become more focused on the topics that a bride and groom will need:  bridal beauty advice, reception entertainment tips, creative invitation ideas, and much more.
  • Good Life Review, our travel publication, will be highlighting one travel region each month.  We start this new spotlight by taking a closer look at travel in Mexico.  However, if your travel plans don’t include Mexico, there’s no need to fret.  In addition to this focus, we still will be covering travel throughout the rest of the world.
  • Like NASCAR?  Make sure to check out Gas Pedal Addicts.  With a focus on Sprint Cup and Nationwide drivers, races, and more, it is the perfect source for NASCAR info.  New to this publication is Sprint Speculation.  Every week, we poll our readers on which driver is likely to win the upcoming race.  Don’t forget to share your opinion!

On this Monday morning, as the sun shines and a gentle breeze ruffles the leaves, it seems like a good start to the week.

Have a great week, and happy reading!
