James Maynard is a professional writer from Keene, New Hampshire. Currently writing for 20-odd websites, on subjects from movie and TV reviews to eco-friendly living, home repairs and travel, Maynard produces articles covering a diverse number of subjects. A former publisher, one title he designed and published became the fifth-fastest selling book in the country on BarnesandNoble.com. James Maynard holds a degree in chemistry and physics with a minor in history from Keene State College, and for three years, he wrote a newspaper column about astronomy, which was published weekly in New Hampshire and Vermont.
In his free time, he enjoys writing and playing mostly-original, mostly-comedy music with his band, Philosophy Slap.
