February Highlights

by Michele Pesula Kuegler on February 4th, 2013

February tends to confuse my sense of time.  I’m not really sure why that is, as it is only two days shorter than four other months.  However, those two days seem to make a big difference.  Case in point:  on Friday, my husband and I were discussing events in February and realized that we needed to start planning and scheduling immediately.  On January first, I don’t think we would have been feeling as rushed.

Whatever the reason for my time crunch with a twenty-eight day month, I believe I have myself on schedule now.  Family events, work obligations, and a holiday or two have been added to the calendar.  I’m ready to face the shortest month of the year!

In case you have a few openings in the coming week, here are some items to check out at PeKu:

  • Suggest a winner or loser.  Our political publication, Camp Campaign, will be displaying its new redesign later this week.  As part of the new look, we are seeking names from our readers for our weekly Winners & Losers column.
  • Check out Vermont.  Thinking about traveling to New England for a vacation.  Vermont is the destination of the month at Good Life Review.  Discover everything from outdoor activities to fine dining to museums and more in this small state.
  • Develop a taste for Cake.  No, I’m not talking about the kind that you eat; I’m talking about the band.  As the artist of the month at Tunes News, you’re sure to learn all about the band, their style of music, and their albums.

Happy February to all!

Michele
