December feels like it arrived early this year. With a Thanksgiving that was as late as the calendar allows, it isn’t surprising. So, we quickly shift gears from Pilgrim decorations and cranberry sauce to candles in windows and cookie baking parties. While this year’s calendar may make the entire holiday season feel more rushed, it also makes everything seem more festive. At least for me, I enjoy having the family-filled Thanksgiving and proceeding immediately to holiday parties and shopping for presents.
Of course, December contains more than fun and frivolity. In fact, we have a handful of exciting changes happening at PeKu. Here are a few:
- ‘Bout Green– Our environmentally-based publication, Be Green Info, has been relaunched as ‘Bout Green, in order to provide a new look and shorter URL for our readers. Look for exciting new articles and topics in the coming months.
- Parched No More– Our beverage publication has a shiny new look. All of our columns have a great following, so they haven’t been changed, but the layout of the homepage, along with designs of our logo, icons, and more have been updated.
- Little Bit of Green– Our gardening and landscaping publication has had its content revised. To offer more pertinent information, we now publish a weekly column that focuses on specific gardening regions. With the approach of winter, we also will be offering advice on outdoor projects for the colder months.
When you have a free moment, take a peek at our newness. We hope you like the changes as much as we do!
