April Highlights

by Michele Pesula Kuegler on April 2nd, 2012

April always makes me think of new beginnings.  Although spring starts in March, April always feels more like the beginning of spring to me.  Part of that may be that living in New Hampshire there is a good chance that March will be cold and snowy.  The same is true for April, but by this time in the year I am more hopeful that the days of snowstorms and sub-freezing temperatures are behind us for many months.

With the days getting longer and the temperatures slowly creeping higher, I feel more motivated to begin new projects, both big and small.  Choosing new flowers to plant in the yard is always on the list.  Invariably, cleaning some portion of our home is added to the list in the hope of creating a new feel.  The growth extends past home and into the world of work, whether it be adding a new feature, making sites more user-friendly, or some other project.  Something about flowers blooming and sunshine are inspiring for me.

So, what’s new at WMG this month?

  • Monthly Health Observance– Each month we will be highlighting a specific area of concern in health.  This month’s observance is Alcohol Awareness.
  • Parenting Predicament– This new biweekly column will provide a way for parents to give and receive advice.  Every other week we will publish an issue that one of our readers is having.  Over the next two weeks we will post advice submitted by our readers.  At the end of the two week period we will share the advice from a specialist in that particular area of parenting.
  • Top Notch Movie Reviews-  Ok, for this site we haven’t added a new feature, but we do have a new team of writers at Flick Rev who are dedicated to seeing the newest movies and sharing their honest and thoughtful opinions.  Before you makes plans, check with our reviewers.

I hope you also are finding some inspiration.  If the changes in nature aren’t enough of a stimulus, give one of our publications a try.
