A Little Q&A with WMG

by Michele Pesula Kuegler on March 26th, 2012

When I introduce myself as the CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Wasabi Media Group, there are a handful of questions that I am oft to receive.  Today I thought I’d share a few and educate our audience a little bit about WMG.

Q:  What is Wasabi Media Group?

A:  Wasabi Media Group (affectionately known as WMG) is an Internet-based publishing company that is comprised of 24 niche publications.  These publications cover a wide array of topics, including everything from aerobics to zoology.

Q:  Where do you get all of your content?

A:  All of our content is original, written by members of our specialist and writing teams.

Q:  Why is Wasabi in your name?  Do you like sushi?

A:  First, I do enjoy sushi, but I am not a huge fan of wasabi.  Second, we chose the name Wasabi, as we are an incubated company that is part of the Wasabi Ventures portfolio.

Q:  What is the subscription fee at WMG?

A:  There is no fee to read any of the articles at WMG.  Additionally, you don’t need to register, give us your email address, or log-in via Facebook or Twitter in order to enjoy all that we have to offer.  Just choose a topic and begin reading!

Q:  Do you plan on adding any more publications?

A:  At this point, we are satisfied with the size of our publishing family.  However, you never know what the future may hold.

Q:  Are there any changes in the near future for Wasabi Media?

A:  We are constantly updating our publications with new designs and features.  We also continue to increase the number of articles we are publishing on a weekly basis.
